Insights

We are continuing to build a picture of what works and what doesn’t in health and social care in Wales.

We gather information from our national survey, complaints advocacy, and engagement efforts, and this is looked at in detail and shared with decision makers and with you. We will make sure we communicate the impact of our work.  If you would like to hear more about this, please sign up to our monthly newsletter.

For all-Wales priorities, where we have seen a pattern of need across the whole country, we will work with researchers to understand in more depth some of the challenges facing you and your communities.  So far, some of these pieces of work have included:

  • Access to dentistry
  • Public perceptions of pharmacy services
  • Integration of pharmacy services into the broader healthcare system
  • Access to GP services
  • Using Welsh in health and social care
