About Us

We’re an independent statutory body, set up by the Welsh Government to give the people of Wales much more say in the planning and delivery of their health and social care services – locally, regionally and nationally.

From 1 April 2023 Llais replaced the seven Community Health Councils who have represented the interests of people in the NHS in Wales for almost 50 years.

We’re building on their work with additional powers to grow your influence on shaping your NHS services and now your social care services, too.

We always welcome feedback about our own services, too, so that we can always work to do better. Please get in touch with any feedback you have for us: we’ll respond to you on how we will take it on board.
