Dr Rajan Madhok
Having lived in North Wales since 2018, I have a fondness for the Welsh culture and began learning Welsh recently.
Before retiring I was a public health doctor, working in senior medical management positions in the NHS in England.
During my active career, my main interest was in patient centric health care especially patient and worker safety and academic medicine.
Amongst many other positions in the past I was the Chairman of British Association of Physicians of Indian Origin and a Council member of the General Medical Council.
I am currently a trustee of some voluntary organisations, and a Non-executive director on the Board of Wirral University Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
I am passionate about public engagement, leadership development and on promoting reflective practice. I am pleased to be part of the important work that Llais is going to deliver for the people of Wales.
