Llais is looking for a Deputy Chair
We are particularly interested in candidates who are clearly connected to communities across Wales, but also individuals who might have one or more of the following backgrounds, skills or experience:
- Digital inclusion in health and social care
- Change management
- Institutional resilience
- Workforce and human resources management
- Social care background
- Care in the third sector
Applications are welcomed from candidates who do not have this specific experience but may have transferable knowledge and skills. The Deputy Chair must be able to commit to 4 days per month to Llais and be able to demonstrate that they are able to balance competing priorities with other commitments and roles.
The Deputy Chair will need to:
- Provide strong, effective and visible leadership as agreed with the Chair, internally through the Board and its committees and externally through connections with a wide range of stakeholders and partners within the wider community;
- Deputise for the Chair and lead the Board in the Chair’s absence, performing additional functions as agreed with the Chair.
