Llais is seeking an Independent Member to join our Workforce, Remuneration and Terms of Service Committee. 

This is an opportunity for an experienced workforce, HR or organisational development professional to provide independent advice, scrutiny and constructive challenge, helping to strengthen governance and support our mission of ensuring people's voices shape health and social care services across Wales. 

We're looking for someone with:  

  • Senior workforce, HR or organisational development experience within the public or third sector 

  • Experience of board or committee governance arrangements 

  • Expertise in people strategy and organisational development 

  • Strong independent judgement and the ability to challenge constructively 

  • Knowledge and experience of equity, diversity and inclusion 

 Role details   

  • £198 per day plus reasonable travel expenses 

  • Approximately 10 days per year, including four committee meetings and preparation time 

  • Initial one-year appointment, with the potential for a second year
