06.02.26 Update - Keeping you informed: Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service (EMRTS)

NEWS 6 February 2026

We remain committed to keeping the public informed as this important work progresses.

As promised last November, we wanted to keep the people of Wales informed on any updates from the NHS Wales Joint Commissioning Committee (NWJCC) regarding EMRTS.

This is clearly a topic that matters deeply to many, and it’s understandable that communities want to know what’s happening next, and how they will be involved.

The NWJCC met at the end of last month and have provided an update regarding Recommendation 4.
