Llais Powys - Report on What We Heard in Ystradgynlais September 2023

REPORT 15 January 2024

In Powys, Llais is working on a locality basis to find out what people think about the health and social care services that they receive.

During the month of September, we were working in the Ystradgynlais area. We searched for ways to engage with people of all ages and with different interests and to listen to their views. We engaged with approximately 200 people during the month and we are very grateful to everyone who provided us with their views and experiences about receiving health and care services.

During the month, we received comments which reflected a range of experiences and opinions. Some people shared positive experiences, whilst others told us about the challenges they face in accessing services.

We have shared our key findings with Powys Teaching Health Board and Powys County Council. Our report summarises what we heard and the responses we received from the County Council and Health Board.
